The Naturist Vibe

Vibe Bite - Nudelebrities

Dan Speers

In this episode of The Naturist Vibe, Gabby and Dan take a fun and thoughtful look at the rise of “nudelebrities” in naturism. These are the creators, leaders, organizers, educators, artists, and everyday naturists who shape culture simply by showing up authentically. We explore how they influence community norms, spark new conversations, challenge outdated narratives, and help modern naturism grow. From social media voices to resort owners to the people who quietly hold everything together, this episode celebrates the ones who inspire, uplift, and move naturism forward in meaningful ways.

We also share that this list is far from complete. Naturism is full of people doing meaningful work, both publicly and behind the scenes, and we plan to continue highlighting them. In a future episode, we will add more nudelebrities to the list and give space to even more voices shaping the present and future of ethical naturism.

Here are some Nudelebrities to look out for:

Gabby:

Welcome back to another Vibe Bite from the Nature's Vibe podcast. I am Gabby, the Crown Nudie.

Dan:

And I'm Dan, maker of things and today's vibe. Light is a fun one.

Gabby:

It is a fun one. We're talking about nude celebrities.

Dan:

Yeah. Every community has its celebrities and naturalism is no different.

Gabby:

So let's get into what a nude liberty is, how someone becomes one, and who we would consider nude liberties today. So first, let's define it. A nude liberty is someone who becomes wellknown influential or admired, specifically within the Nats or nudist community.

Dan:

Yeah. Think of it like this. If you walk into a club, a resort campsite, natures event, and people whisper, oh, that's them, you're probably a nude liberty.

Gabby:

Actually, Dan, it's deeper than just being seen. Nude celebrities contribute something meaningful. They're content creators, leaders, educators, trailblazers, resort owners, activists, organizers, or even the person who pulls entire communities to together just by showing up fully as themselves.

Dan:

You know, they're the folks who help shape the culture. They normalize, they uplift, they challenge the old narratives, and sometimes they even shift trends in naturalism

Gabby:

Nude liberty isn't about perfection or followers. It's about influence, impact, and consistency.

Dan:

Okay, let's get into the criteria. What actually makes someone a nude liberty?

Gabby:

Well, number one, visibility, which you've pointed out before, whether online or in person, people know who you are, you show up, you participate, you engage.

Dan:

Number two, contribution. What are you bringing to the nature space? Education, creative work, community building events, advocacy.

Gabby:

Number three, impact. Are you changing the narrative? Are you making nature is safer, more inclusive, more fun or more accessible?

Dan:

And number four, reputation in natures how you vibe matters. Respect, consent, ethics, your actions, define your name.

Gabby:

And lastly, number five, longevity. Anyone can go viral. Once nude liberties, stick around, they build.

Dan:

So it's not just, Hey, I posted one nude video and now I'm natures famous. It's the long game, the community game. The integrity game.

Gabby:

Exactly. And the beautiful part. Anyone can become a nude liberty by simply showing up for the community with purpose and consistency.

Dan:

Alright, now this is the fun part. Who actually counts as a nude liberty in today's natures world.

Gabby:

From YouTube creators to club owners, from meetup hosts to educators, to the people who just show up and shift the whole vibe at events. These are the folks shaping the culture in real time.

Dan:

Yeah. So we pulled together a list of nude liberties who are active right now in natures. Now, this isn't an exhaustive list. This is just some of the ones that we've identified for today. So let's get into it.

Gabby:

All right, so we have naked newbies starting off this list. Daisy and ocho, they are killing it with their brand naked newbies. Introducing younger nudists into the lifestyle. You know, educating them, going on trips and just building a community. And I'm so happy and proud of the work they have done and I can't wait to see more.

Dan:

Yeah. And I love the fact that they invite people to come and listen to them so they can hear what Nudism is about and get a lot of their questions answered and really understand what this way of life or this lifestyle is.

Gabby:

Yeah.

Dan:

And you know they are, they're quite amazing.

Gabby:

Yeah. They like to Hit the roads, so to speak, and start conversations, random conversations with other nudists and get their thoughts and opinions on various questions. And you can see a lot of that in the content that they create on YouTube and, Instagram. So the next person we have on this list is Hector Martinez.

Dan:

Yeah, Hector has been online for, I guess a couple years now, and he's very visible when it comes to nature's activities and events and places within the natures world. Yeah. And so it's really nice to see someone like him promoting Natures.

Gabby:

Yeah. And he, I believe, has started a group in Mexico, which is pretty cool. And. He seems to be a spokesperson for some organizations. I believe it's INF. Correct me if I'm wrong, I love what he's doing and he has a wonderful way of sharing what Nudism is just being able to articulate. The healthy benefits of naturalism. I think he does a wonderful job with that.

Dan:

And he's not afraid to be visible in the community. Yeah. I mean, you can see a lot of his work on Blue Sky, Instagram, those things. And you know, I really appreciate some of the body painting that we've seen from him.'cause it is really intricate and detailed that people do on him. He's, he's the model, right? Right. He's the canvas for the body painting and. Um, it's really remarkable.

Gabby:

What I like about both Hector and Naked newbies, is that they aren't afraid to show their faces. We have seen many times over people who do post, natures photos. They usually have their face blocked or, they're facing away from the camera. They're hiding behind stuff, and I think. The younger generation are more comfortable with showing their bodies and their faces all at once on social media. Obviously we do have to censor ourselves a bit because of social media restrictions, but they make it a point to show their faces. They're not afraid. And I think that's refreshing to see it.

Dan:

It is refreshing. I mean, you know when people are hiding their face, it tells a story, which is that there's something that they feel like they have to hide.

Gabby:

Well, yeah. And we get it. It might be because of family and because of work. your community outside of nature is, may not be as accepting. So I get that, but. It is very hard to promote Naturism with that level of privacy. While I think it is important that we respect everyone's privacy, I think it's harder to be the face of something or advocate for something if you also have to hide who you are.

Dan:

Yeah, exactly.

Gabby:

Not saying that it can't be done, but you're not going to have the same impact. That maybe Naked newbies or Hector and some of the other people on this list has made.

Dan:

Yeah, I mean most everyone on this list is visible in some way,

Gabby:

right? Nick and Lynn's over at Naked Wanderings and they also have destination clothes free. They are. World travelers in the NAS community, they go to all the major Nats resorts and they share their reviews on them, and I one day would like us to grow up to be Nick and Lynn just. Visiting all of the natures resorts worldwide.

Dan:

Yeah. They have, uh, they've made some really amazing guides to naturalism in various places, and so following in their footsteps and just yeah, be something quite amazing to accomplish.

Gabby:

Yeah. If you had to guess actually, how many places do you think they visited?

Dan:

Oh, probably upwards of somewhere between 50 and even, maybe even a hundred. I mean, quite a lot of places, from what I can tell. Quite a, yeah,

Gabby:

quite a lot. Yeah. I'm curious if they also have day jobs or this is their life, their entire life. I don't actually know, but if this is their entire life, I am a little jealous. I would love to just be able to do that, but, we'll stick with remote work for now. something I wanted to highlight. They are NBN members and when they first joined, they were really excited about our mission behind Nature's Business Network. And so we are so ecstatic to have them part of that community.

Dan:

And here's one more thing, right? They've been around for a couple years now and they've gone to a lot of places. They put out a lot of content. Mm-hmm. I mean, if you're in the Nats world and you don't know who they are, you must be living under a rock.

Gabby:

Yeah. They have like over a hundred K followers on Instagram. Yeah. And so that is just a testament to the consistency and amount of content that they put out on a regular basis. So next on our list is the wonderful Linda Weber, president of Anna.

Dan:

She has been an amazing voice. Yeah. Right from the very first time that I saw her, probably a year and a half ago online when she was running for Anna President and it was remarkable just how visible she wanted to be and getting herself out there and getting herself known and visiting clubs and putting out a very positive message. It's um, I don't think any inner president has been quite so active and visible in the nature's community as she has.

Gabby:

Yeah, and I'm actually quite honored to be working with her. I am a member of Anna and also part of the young adult, and diversity advisory council, which Linda actually implemented as president. And she is on a mission to get. More younger people, more diverse people, connect them with naturalism education, get them part of the community. And I am really happy to be part of this amazing opportunity to work with her and to spread the word about naturalism to a younger audience who may not. Necessarily feel that naturalism currently is for them, because maybe if they've seen the same old, types of people in marketing and, technology isn't where it needs to be within Naturism. So we're trying to work to get nature is right now to a more modern era and Linda's doing a great job with that.

Dan:

And we've often said that, for nature's to grow, it really needs to embrace more diversity, younger voices, be more inclusive and that sort of thing. This initiative of hers is key to a lot of that future.

Gabby:

Yeah. And another amazing woman in naturalism is Helen Berryman. She is based in the uk

Dan:

Yeah. And she's been doing this not very long. In fact, I think maybe as long as you've been in naturalism, but I'm not entirely sure. But I do know that I started

Gabby:

in 2023, so that's pretty recent.

Dan:

Yeah. And so her. Introduction to Natrium is pretty recent too, and she's a good example of someone that embraced it and became an advocate very quickly. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And became very well known in the natures community. Yeah.'cause of her advocacy.

Gabby:

Yeah. I think naturalism in the US can learn a lot from natures organizations in the uk and people like Helen really do push to have the younger audience in naturalism and the work with British naturalism, they're really killing it with ensuring that there are. People in naturalism that's gonna continue this legacy.

Dan:

Yeah. One of the things that's really nice about what Helen does is that she has a podcast, which is about women in naturalism.

Gabby:

Yeah.

Dan:

And so she brings forward some of those voices as well, because that's one of the things that Naturalism has struggled with oftentimes is getting more women into this way of life and showing them the value of it. And that she's doing an amazing job with that.

Gabby:

Yeah. And up next on our list is Evan Nicks.

Dan:

Evan Nicks our friend, Evan Nicks, who is, if you don't know, he is the one that runs planet nude. Mm-hmm. And he has created quite an archive of historical information, bringing forth a rich history of naturism

Gabby:

yeah. Yeah, I think he is definitely someone to pay attention to. He does a lot of work with Anna as head of their pr. He does a lot of work with TNS. You are doing something

Dan:

right? He's part of the TNS SIG that is working to find ways to help nature's clubs survive. We've lost a lot of clubs over the years. Usually due to a private club being sold to non naturist entities, that sort of thing. So the clubs lose their nature status. Mm-hmm. So a lot of this really has to do with how can we protect the clubs that are out there so that we don't lose them quite so easily. Yeah. Right. And so there's a lot of work that that needs to be done to help with that. Yeah. So that's one of those initiatives. Yeah. One more thing about Evan right, is that he also has a great podcast that he puts out from time to time, which has well researched In depth stories that are really valuable to listen to. So if you haven't caught one of his podcasts, you should.

Gabby:

up next on our list is Frank and Lisa, hosts of Naked Nudist and Nitris podcast. The official podcast of Anna Frank and Lisa have been really supportive of the Nature's Vibe podcast and of our other project RK Underground. And I think it's really awesome that they were so willing to share more about us on their podcast, and it just shows the. The type of community that we're building within naturalism. Like we all know everybody wants to be a podcaster. Everybody thinks they can be a podcaster and, and it's hard work when you finally get into it. But Frank and Lisa already has what, they just did their hundredth episode

Dan:

recently? Yeah. They had their hundredth episode this past summer. Mm-hmm. And um, they are. Killing it. You know, quite frankly, they're doing a lot of really nice stuff. They get a lot of different guests. They have content queued up mm-hmm. For the next couple of months. I know that when we talked to them about just sharing our concert for RK Underground, we were surprised at how much more they talked about us and the nature is Vibe podcast, not just, you know, talking about the concert. So, yeah. Yeah. We are very appreciative of all of their support.

Gabby:

Up next on this list is Stefan de Shane.

Dan:

And he's another person that if you don't know his name or even what he looks like, you've been

Gabby:

under rock.'cause he's very recognizable. He's

Dan:

very recognizable. I mean, he's the owner of Bear Oaks and he is one of those people. That is a great example of what it looks like to be out there when it comes to social media marketing and promoting Naturism in such a positive way. Mm-hmm. Right. If there are people out there who are asking the question, what should we be doing to make our club more visible, more family friendly, more accepting to natures look no further than Stefan, because his work is a perfect example of this.

Gabby:

Yeah. Um, bar Oaks, he runs Barrows, it's his place, correct? Yeah, it's his place. And if you go to their website, look at their rules, look at how they position themselves in the nature's community. It's a great example and I think everyone could benefit from taking a look at what Stefan is doing.

Dan:

Yeah. From everything from his podcast to his visibility in movies on social media. Some of the videos that they've done, yeah. Which are more professional than pretty much any other thing else out there from a lot of clubs that you see? Yeah. Yeah, again, his work is really remarkable, so hat's off to him as well as everything else.

Gabby:

All right. And then up next. Dustin Cox is. The man he has been really supportive of, the work that I'm doing, as the Crown Nudie and our work with NBN and TNV and Rrk Underground, and he was actually the one who introduced me to the Anna Group, young Adult and Diversity Advisory Council. He, recommended me and now here I am part of it. He writes for his blog, one Natures Life. You can find him on, Substack. He is an Anna member. He works with Evan Nicks, doing a weekly roundup of, things going on in the nature's world and. I think he is definitely someone who people should be listening to When you read his articles on Substack, he's not afraid to talk about some of the hard things and the things that need to be changed within Naturism, including, bringing in more, younger adults and more diversity. I think people can really learn a lot from the things that he's writing about and he's doing amazing work.

Dan:

He's a really good example for people to follow if they're thinking that they want to be a nude liberty one day. If they want to be a really strong advocate for natures, you look no further than Dustin because. As an example, because he has done exactly that. Mm-hmm. And it's a lot of work, but at the same time, there's a lot of value that he's putting out there into the world.

Gabby:

And to round out today's list, we have Thomas. Skinny Dip Day. It was a pleasure meeting him earlier this year at the Sky Farm, uh, music Festival and what he's done with Skinny Dip Day is. Really remarkable. Everyone in the NAS community celebrates it. Different clubs, have their, skinny dip day and some people they go to the beach and have their skinny dip day and it is a, for a, a really amazing cause.

Dan:

Yeah, he's trying to raise money for, women's charities

Gabby:

women's charities, particularly ones that deal with body dysmorphia and naturism is about body acceptance, body freedom, body positivity and I think it's a great charity to support.

Dan:

Alright, Gabby, big question time. Who is your favorite nude liberty?

Gabby:

My favorite would be Linda Weber. She's doing amazing work in trying to bring more, diversity and inclusion into Naturism and she has made waves and, I think she's done a lot of really good work for Natures for Women of, for, you know, anyone who doesn't fit the. The typical mold. She is out there advocating for all voices, and I think that's amazing. All right. Maker of things, your turn. Who is your favorite new Le Le?

Dan:

I've gotta say Evan Nick. Because one of the things that I've always been passionate about is understanding nature, naturism history, and how important this way of life is to all the people that are involved and the benefits that it can have to society as a whole. And his research has just been nothing short of amazing. And if you haven't listened to his podcast, if you haven't read any of his stories and looked at what he's done, you know, please do because he is. He's out there doing amazing work

Gabby:

being a. Nude. Liberty isn't about ego. It's about energy, intention, and impact. And Naturism has some incredible people pushing the movement forward in ways the world is finally starting to notice.

Dan:

So shout out to the nude liberties, the almost nude liberties, the future nude liberties, and everyone's just doing their part to make nature better.

Gabby:

If you enjoy this vibe, bite, share it. Tag a nude liberty in your life. Until next time, stay free, stay open, stay ethical,

Dan:

and that's the nature's vibe.

Gabby:

Bye.
